Abstract:
Aim: Maxillary anterior teeth loss may cause esthetic and functional problems for the patients. Implant restorations have become a routine treatment for the replacement of missing incisors. However, successful treatment for such situations may necessitate a minimally invasive technique. The purpose of these two case reports was to compare the outcome of implant insertion with that of space closure in two patients.
Materials and Methods: These case reports describe two patients who lost their maxillary right central incisors due to trauma. The first patient was treated with implant insertion; however, the second one was treated with space closure.
Result and Conclusion: The first patient returned with some esthetic complaints after twenty years; however, a favorable outcome was achieved in the second case.
